About me...
I am Bella, a cute and tiny, 17-pound multigenerational petite-mini Goldendoodle from the sought-after line of the stockier English Golden retrievers. This line is known for the blockier heads and stockier bodies that have earned us the nickname "teddy bear" Goldendoodles. Aside from my high intelligence and easy-to-train temperament that makes my line wonderful for service or emotional support, I'm just plain cuddly. Have you ever imaged loosing yourself in the shaggy, silky-soft hair of a Goldendoodle? (Yes, we have hair, not fur) Then, imagine nights and weekends, cozy as can be, with a Goldendoodle just like me! My pups will have varying degrees of shaggy, loose curls, which are easier to maintain. Now, let's talk color! Regardless of my beau, there is something unique about me. I have darkened as I've gotten older, indicative of the rare Rufus gene. Most, not all, Goldendoodles fade a bit as they get older, and even though geneticists can't yet test for the Rufus gene, they know it exists, and there is strong indication it runs in my genes. My sire also darkened. Even if I don't pass on this gene, my puppies, depending on who I'm bred to, will have coats of gorgeous varying shades of red, apricot or buff-cream. My pups are estimated for summer 2024.
